Hwang Bo's Arisong (R2Song) garnering overseas interest


Hwang Bo, who made her comeback with Arisong on the 7th, which has also been dominating the Juno charts in the UK, has garnered the interest of the Taiwanese media.

News of Hwang Bo topping the Juno charts was featured in the Taiwanese MTV and media channels, and her history as a member of Chakra and her much loved role in WGM among her fans was also highlighted.

Her new sexy image portrayed in Arisong was also seen to be popular as it was a change from her usual outlook.

Taiwnese netizens have also been singing praises about her, stating that her new song was great and that they were looking forward to her future activities. They also stated that it was amazing for an Asian singer to have placed first in the UK charts.

Hwang Bo's response was that she was extremely thankful for her Taiwanese fans who have shown her much love and interest. She stated that she had heard of the typhoons that had hit Taiwan. She also said that should there be any open concerts held in light of the recent disaster, she would like to personally go and comfort her Taiwanese fans.

love the song, but i was trying to find out whether the song was actually popular in the uk and i couldn't find it. what the juno charts looks like is a track wholesale site for club djs and on that site it was promoted as the postino remix thus it seems the popularity of this dj had something to do with it as well. i'm not saying she doesn't deserve overseas attention but a market like europe is very hard to penetrate and it really doesn't look like this song is in the public consciousness in the uk. people shouldn't assume that this is a widely known song over there.
