Hyun Joong: I read adult manga

Hyun Joong recently revealed that he reads adult manga.

Hyun Joong, who was featured on a recent recording of Family Outing informed the MC that he has been reading interesting mangas lately. Upon hearing that MC Yoo asked him what manga has he read lately, to which he answered adult manga.

His response caused MC Yoo to be flustered, and Hyori also laughingly mentioned that MC Yoo also favored those type of mangas. Both Hyun Joong and MC Yoo appeared bashful at that statement.

Hyun Joong then went on to further explain that it was mangas like 'War of Money' that made him feel that he had begun reading mangas for adults, hence adult manga. His explanation cleared up the misunderstanding that both Hyori and MC Yoo had about the term adult manga.

Hwang Bo: Injured her head while filming

Hwang Bo injured her head in the midst of filming Nodaji on the 22nd at 4 p.m.

She fell down, hitting her head with a loud thump, causing the filming to stop immediately before rushing her to the Inha University Hospital.

Hwang Bo's representatives stated that luckily there were no serious injuries sustained by her after she went through the CT scan examination at the hospital. They also said that she wanted to resume filming immediately after the examination, her dedication to her work clearly apparent here. However, they also stated that they will be keeping a close watch on her condition over the next few days.

Hwang Bo was involved in a car accident on the 15th, making this her second accident within a week.

Take up the model challenge with Hyun Joong!

Hotsun Chicken will be organizing an event whereby members of the public will have the opportunity to become a model alongside spokesperson Hyun Joong.

This event will run from the 22nd till the 30 of November, and will be open for participation to everyone. Those interested in participating can do so by logging into the Hotsun Chicken website (www.hotsun.co.kr) and filling up an application form at the events page of the website.

Successful applicants will be notified and there are a total of three prizes available for three lucky applicants, placed at 2 million won, 1 million won, and 500,000 won. They will also model for Hotsun Chicken over a two year period, as well as film ads with Hyun Joong.

Hyun Joong: I am healthy now. I apologize for making everyone worry about me.

Hyun Joong, who was hospitalized in Japan after being infected with swine flu returned home to Korea in the pink of health.

Hyun Joong arrived in Seoul together with his manager at 2.25 p.m. on the 16th, wearing a black hat and a face mask. Upon arrival, he greeted the hoardes of reporters waiting for him and said "Thank you very much for all your concern, I will return to our album activities in the best of health".

DSP has stated that Hyun Joong will be undergoing another medical checkup in Korea and that activities for their new album are currently being planned out.

Hwang Bo: Involved in a car accident

Hwang Bo was involved in a car accident on the 15th while on the way to the filming site of Nodaji. This however, has not stopped her from continuing on with her filming schedules, as she proceeds on with the filming of Infinite Girls on the 16th.

While on the way to the filming site of Nodaji, Hwang Bo's manager lost control of the van that they were in and rammed into the guardrail. While her van was badly damaged, there were no serious injuries sustained by both Hwang Bo and her manager.

Hwang Bo who was supposed to go to the hospital for a more thorough check up after the filming of Nodaji was not able to do so due to the fact that her filming had finished really late at night. Her management has stated that they most likely go for a checkup after the filming of Infinite Girls.

I'm really sorry for the long week of not posting, been trying to recover from a cold that is about as persistent as... I have no likenings to fit this dratted cold.. Gah...

Anyways, I'll most likely be posting again when my eyes don't feel so droopy and I am not coughing my lungs out.

I am recovering, but it's a slow, long process. Being sick sucks.

But on a brighter note, it's Shar's birthday today!

Hyun Joong down with swine flu

Hyun Joong was diagnosed with swine flu when he was in Japan for promotional activities for KPN.

He had displayed signs of fever and flu while he was promoting KPN on the 5th and 6th, causing him to miss his activities on the 6th. He was about to get on a flight on the 7th when he was rushed to the emergency unit due symptoms of high fever.

He has been treated with the Tamiflu, and his management has stated that they are keeping a close watch on his health condition.

Hyun Joong is reportedly the first Korean artiste to be diagnosed with swine flu.

SS501 fanmeeting in Kuala Lumpur

Pics of the boys at the fanmeet! I heard that there were some complaints made by the fans about not being able to get all their autographs unless they got a few albums and the fact that they were being told that the boys didn't have enough time during the fanmeeting or something. But this is all hearsay, not too sure what the exact situation was like there.

However later, the fans were more understanding of the situation after the organizers explained and apologized for all the inconveniences experienced by the fans. It's nice to see an organizer explaining to the fans about their glitches. It goes to show that they do take the masses seriously and respect them as fans of the artistes they bring in, and not just cash cows.

Plus I feel that if organizers step up and talk to the public when they express dissatisfaction, it allows the public to see things from their points of view as well as make them feel like they are being heard, hence diffusing any sticky situations.

Just my two cents worth!

Thumbs up to the boys and the organizers for putting together this event in such short notice!

JOONGBO RADIO DAY

Hey Guys here with another project. To remember our days watching the show and commemorate all of these days of spazzing (and hopefully more days to come) i will use my net radio station to have a JOONGBO MUSIC DAY . It will consist of songs used in the show, songs that u yourself think reminds u of JOONGBO and songs sung by our HJ and our HB. We will also have a chatango room that day so everyone can come in and comment and spazz!!

It would be on Friday 11th at 9 am (us eastern time for me) (that would be Friday 10 pm in Korea, 9 pm for Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines)

SS Boys in Malaysia!

Quick note!!!

The boys will be in Malaysia on the 3rd of September for a quick fan session following a photo shoot that they have scheduled.

Arrival details:

Date: 3rd September 2009
Time: 1.10 p.m
Flight: MH 2605

The event will be held at the One World Hotel, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya (Jasmine and Orchid Rooms, Level C) and starts at 6 p.m. No entrance fees or purchasing of tickets, and fans just need to purchase an album on the spot to get autographs from the boys!

Go meet them guys!!! Sigh... I wish I could go! Someone send me an autographed album!!!!!!
