WGM Seollal Special

I just downloaded the WGM Seollal special, namely because my favorite gagwoman Kim Shin Young is in it! It took me ages to actually bother to download it, and I finally watched it today and I drowned in my laughter! They were so adorable!! My lovely Kkakong and Rakong!!

I am thinking of doing an episode summary for them, since I don't think anyone has done theirs yet. Of course, I stand to be corrected, but I think I still will just because they have won me over with their innocence.

I love my KongKong couple!!!!!!

I haven't watched the other two couples, since I'm not that big a fan of the other two females, but I shall. In due time.

Quick update

Another round of quick updates! ^^

1) I'm pretty sure that everyone has heard that members of the broadcasting union are standing up on strike protesting against proposed reforms to broadcasting legislation. While this won't affect the broadcasting of dramas that have been outsourced to third parties, the fate of other programs such as WGM are still uncertain as PDs have joined in the strike. The WGM PD has even apologized to the Kangji couple for being placed in such a situation when they recently started their stint on WGM. Hmmm...


2) Hwang Bo appeared on an episode of Ootchasa (a gag show), looking as lovely as ever! I watched it, and honestly that segment left me in stiches! It's hillarious, everyone should go watch it! ^^ She danced her techtonik and Hyun Joong was also mentioned in the segment, but all she did was smile.

Latest in the WGM buzz is that Junjin (of Shinhwa and also known as Hwang Bo's best friend) is also coming on the show after the Ant couple leaves. No idea on who his 'wife' is going to be though...

Should I let personal feelings get in the way of watching WGM? I must say that I am more interested in the KangJi couple than the Jin-Anon couple. Don't mind me, I'm biased as usual. And I was praying that Hee Chul would be on the show... I got half my wish I guess, a SuJu member.

WGM's new couple: Kangin- Lee Yoon Ji

WGM has announced their new couple, Kangin and Lee Yoon Ji.

Super Junior member Kangin has recently completed the filming of his movie. Lee Yoon Ji has also received a lot of attention following her KBS drama.

The both of them will be filming their first episode as a married couple together on the 17th in Seoul.

A WGM official has requested that the public show a lot of love and attention to the older-younger couple Kangin and Lee Yoon Ji.

They will be debuting on WGM on the 21st.

Hyun Joong: Not quitting WGM even after becoming an actor

Not leaving WGM.

Despite Hyun Joong being busy filming his drama Hana Yori Dango, he is still scheduled to appear in WGM.

A close source to Hyun Joong said on the 4th that he will start filming the drama from the 5th onwards but he is still continuing with WGM and that thanks to the understanding of both sides, they have adjusted the filming schedules to accommodate both their schedules.

The source also said that due to the drama filming, he was unable to film the studio shoots for WGM. The filming locations for this month will be in Australia and Macau, but with the adjustments to the schedule, he will be able to continue participating in both WGM and the drama till the end of the year.

An official from WGM also stated that they will stick to the current cast of Hyun Joong- Hwang Bo, Crown J- Seo In Young, Hwan Hee- Hwayobi as well as Marco- Dam Bi till the end of the year.

WGM- Alshin leaves WGM, no other couples to be brought in as replacements

Alex and Shin Ae will be leaving WGM in November. WGM PD, Im Jong Ah, stated that they had already filmed their farewell episode, which will be broadcasted in three weeks.

Alex will be promoting his album with Clazziquai in November whereas Shin Ae is scheduled to start shooting her drama with KBS2.

Alex had left the program once in May due to personal reasons, and Hyun Joong- Hwang Bo were brought on the show as replacements to the Alshin couple.

The PD also said that it was okay for one couple out of five to leave the show and that they would work on a four couple WGM. She also said that there were no other couples who were either going to leave or join the show.

Updates

I've had a really, really long (but fun!) day and just came back to find news. Haha, being the tired and rather lazy me, I've decided to just compile everything into an update again, haha!! Forgive my lazy bone, I do realize that it's been a rather often occurrence lately. Plus, I have yet to do Hwanyobi's summary, I know. I will soon, I promise. Hehe...

1) SS501 participated in the Asia Aid Concert held on the 24th. This concert aims in raising funds to help countries around the world suffering from poverty and disasters. Other participants include DBSK, SG Wannabe, Lee Ji Hoon, Chae Yeon as well as others.

*He's doing more charity work now, haha!*



2) Hwang Bo attended a fashion show for Seoul Fashion Week together with Park Jung Ah on the 25th. Point to notice, her serious expression throughout the show.

3) WGM has been pushed back to 6.55 p.m. Korean time due to the broadcast of the professional baseball game- Korean series.

Mini update

I'm still downloading the episode for this week, so hopefully I'll be able to finish the summary soon. Fingers crossed! Haven't watched the episode yet, although I hear that it was a good one for our couple. However, I also read that a lot of Korean viewers were not very happy with the entire episode, saying that it wasn't interesting or touching at all, and that it seems to have deviated from the objective of the show, which is to display the lives of newly weds. They also didn't like the fact that the old couples were put together with the new couples. Let's just hope that the PDs hear our voices and bring back the shine and lusture of the show!!

On the other hand, Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo had another WGM shooting today, this time at an ice skating rink. They seem to be filming quite a lot lately, something tells me it's because of his upcoming drama. Hmmm... I suppose it's better for him to finish a few weeks worth of WGM now rather than to rush back and forth and overwork his already very tired body.

The Lettuce couple who joins the Ant Tour which was planned in a rush. However, the dispirited Hyun Joong has pleasant feelings towards Marco who uses his unique language freely. Marco also displays positive feelings towards the 4D younger groom... and says 'I like you!'

Feeling a little lethargic today, so I'm gonna be lazy and just post updates today!

1) In this week's episode, Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo join the other three couples (Crown J- So In Young, Hwan Hee- Hwayobi and Marco- Dam Bi) on a trip to MT. Apparently, Hyun Joong said this to Hwang Bo during the ride to their destination... 'I'm burdened by Marco Hyung'!!! This confession of his promises an interesting episode!!

2) Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo were seen shooting in Busan late last night. They were walking on the beach with her dog, and apparently spent their time together chatting. A fan even stated overhearing Hyun Joong saying 'Let's come back here again next time".

3) Hwang Bo's MV for Mature is out!! She looks splendid in all her stills!!

4) Out of interest, Lee Teuk and Eun Hyuk of Super Junior will appear on WGM as assistants to Alex and Shinae who will continue having their childcare missions. Remember the quadraplets? Them. I think they really need the help, although... Hmm.. It should be funny to watch! This is to be broadcasted on the 12th.
