Hwang Bo has revealed the reason why Seung Eun cannot get married while she appeared on an episode of a morning programme together with Seung Eun, who was busy preparing for a musical.

Hwang Bo began broaching the subject over a meal with the cast and crew and stated that one of the main reasons why Seung Eun could not meet the right man was because she lacked the ability to be protected. Hwang Bo explained further by stating that Seung Eun is someone who is very independent and would take it to herself to do any task that is raised, even grilling meat leaving the man with nothing to do. This, she stated, was the biggest problem.

Two weeks later

'Hyung! We have to get ready for the live show now, have you gotten your guitar yet?'

'Yeah, don't worry, I'm ready,' Hyun Joong replied, grabbing his guitar as they walked together towards the studio.

'Why did you suddenly want to play your guitar hyung? You never wanted to before regardless of how many times we asked you to. Are you going to play our latest song??' Hyung Jun asked, pulling on Hyun Joong's shirt as he clamored for his attention.

Hyun Joong smiled in silence and entered the studio where they were scheduled to give an interview.

Taking in deep breaths as the time for him to perform ticked closer, he steadied his heart as he prepared himself mentally to perform the one song that he had been wanting to sing ever since he came back from the hospital.

'Hyun Joong-ssi, we hear that you have prepared a little surprise for everyone here! Would you like to let us in on the surprise?' questioned MC Yoo.

'Hmm... This is actually something that represents me at this moment in time. You could say that I've been sleeping this past two years, going through everyday without knowing what my aim in life was. I've been lucky enough to have been awakened from my long slumber, but just when I thought I could run and make everything alright, I realised that sometimes wanting to try your best just isn't good enough.'

'So... in other words, this is a song that will let us know what your real feelings are?'

'Yes. This is as real as I can ever get.'

'Okay, I'm sure that it's safe to say that we're all looking forward to listening to your heart. Hyun Joong-ssi, if you may...'

Hyun Joong cleared his throat as he strummed the first few chords of the song that he hoped Hwang Bo would hear.

'Hwang Buin.. this is for you...'

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you? And what am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up while you're ok?

Jumping out of the cab, Junjin sped to Hwang Bo's car as she pulled over in front of her apartment building.

'Bo! Look, I'm sorry okay. Please, I didn't mean it that way. I just.. I just didn't think...'

Hwang Bo looked at Junjin, his forehead creased with worry and leaned against him, pulling him close in a hug.

'I know Jin. I know. It's just that... I dunno, I just become a wreck around him. And although I want to pull myself away from him, I can't. Thank you for always being there for me though, I really do love you for being the brother that I can always depend on.'

Sighing, Junjin squeezes her tight, knowing that he will always be defeated by her memory of him.

'I'll always be your brother Bo. I love you too.'

'Hwang Bo-ya! Hwang Bo!!!'

Junjin ran after Hwang Bo as she sped off to her car. Jumping in, she drove off without even taking a look back at Junjin.

Cursing under his breath, Junjin started calling her while flagging a cab down to follow her car.

'Pick up the phone, Bo. Just pick up the damn phone!'

Junjin watched her car swerving in and out of lanes, not caring if she got into an accident or not as she sped back home. Junjin let out a cry of frustration as he threw himself against the seat, thinking of what she said to him in the elevator after they left Hyun Joong's room.

'Jin-ah, why did you have to hold my hand like that in front of him?'

'I.. it.. it was nothing. I've held your hand before, why are you getting all defensive now?'

'I know you've held my hand before, but why in front of him? Especially now??' she demanded as she glared at him through her large expressive eyes.

'I just didn't think it would mean anything to him okay? You guys are over, why should it even matter if I held your hand or not? What makes you think that he'd even care?' retorted Junjin.

Hwang Bo looked at him as tears glassed over her eyes. 'Because I know him inside out. Because I know what he thinks about even without him saying a word. Despite having left his side two years ago, I realized today that no matter how long I've been away from him, I can still read his mind like a book. You know why? Do you really want to know why?'

'No. Look, Bo, I'm sorry okay. Please stop this. I'm really sorry.'

'Because I still love him Jin. No matter how hard I try, I just can't stop loving him. And it's eating me inside when I know that I can't be with him even though that's the only thing in this world that I want. And to know that I've caused him hurt like this, it kills me even more. Do you even understand that Jin?' Hwang Bo asked before she ran out of the elevator.

Junjin closed his eyes as he replayed that scene over and over again in his mind.

'Bo, I do understand. Because it kills me to see you hurting like this too. Please, please, please God. Keep her safe now.'

Hyun Joong opened his eyes and took in the unfamiliar surroundings before laying his eyes on the sleeping form next to him.

'She still looks the same' he thought as he reached out to brush her hair off her face, causing her to stir awake.

'Buin..'

Hwang Bo steadied her heart as she heard him calling her the way he used to call her before everything changed. Smiling at him, she busied herself by straightening his blanket before finally looking at him in the eye.

'Hello Hyun Joong. It's been a while.'

'How have you been? Have you been taking care of yourself the way you take care of people? Do you still look at the stars and wish that I was healthy and well? Do you still look through your phone and think of who to introduce the boys to?'

Hyun Joong looked at her closely, silently asking her those questions in his mind as he took in her face. Taking in a deep breath, he opened his mouth to say something when he heard the door open.

'Jung-ah, I've done all the procedures and I've contacted his manager. They'll be here soon.'

Jun Jin walked in and put an arm over Hwang Bo's shoulders reassuring her that everything was taken care of before looking at the bed.

'Hyun Joong! You're awake!'

'Jun... Jun Jin hyung, thank you for all your help.'

'I didn't do anything, it was Hye Jung that told me what to do. Without her, I'd probably still be freaking out on the road, thinking of what to do next.'

'Yeah, she always knows what to do,' Hyun Joong said in a small voice, betraying the rush of emotions that he was feeling at that moment.

Hwang Bo looked away, feeling the tears threatening to spill over, as she said 'Jinnie, we're going to be late.'

Jun Jin nodded as he took her hand in his and pulled her closer to him. 'Hyun Joong, we're going to go now. You take care and text me if you need anything okay? I've left my number on the table.'

'Okay, hyung. Thank you again. And you too.. Hwang Bo-ssi.'

'Take care Hyun Joong. Get well soon.'

Hyun Joong felt as though his heart was being ripped apart as he watched his Hwang Buin leaving with another man.

'So... she's... found someone who will love her the way I couldn't love her...'

Hyun Joong has released the jacket photos of his upcoming album entitled 'Break Down' scheduled for release on the 8th of June.

His album has him with a different look from his usual appearance, and has been described by netizens to be a more masculine and manly side of him.

His album will carry six tracks and sees him collaborating with Ken Lewis, who has also worked with Usher, Kanye West and Eminem.

Beep... beep... beep...

Taking in deep breaths, Hwang Bo tried to steady herself as she looked at the man lying down on the hospital bed. It took almost all her strength to keep from screaming his name out loud and shaking him awake as he slept on.

'Shillang, what did you do to yourself? You were supposed to be happy, to live your life well. I was supposed to look you in the eye and smile when we finally met again. This is not what it was supposed to be like,' she thought to herself as she felt her body go numb from the sense of helplessness that she felt.

'I would do anything just to hear you sing to me again. Please wake up, Shillang...'

*Three years earlier*

'Buin, make sure you watch my solo later. I've planned a big surprise for you! But don't be too scared when they jump out, okay? ^^Y'

Hwang Bo smiled at the silly text that Hyun Joong sent her and continued watching Kyu Jong performing his solo at the SS501 concert. Thanking her lucky stars that she was no where extremely near the stage, she began giggling as she imagined storks flying out from cages all over the place, when Kyu Jong announced the solo performance of their leader, Hyun Joong.

'Hi there everyone! I hope you're all having a great time!!' yelled Hyun Joong as he stepped out on the stage, dressed in a Pooh Bear suit.

'I know this looks weird, but you'll stay with me right? And not be ashamed of me right??' he asked the cheering crowd as he focused on his star that night.

'I wanted you to know that I have been practicing this for a long time, and that no matter what it's the thought that counts. Pay attention closely, and if you think looking at me is too awkward for you, then just close your eyes and feel this.'

Hyun Joong walked down the stage as he continued singing and headed towards the wide-eyed Hwang Bo. Laughing, he saw her freeze with shock before trying to duck away and disappear into the crowd.

'HWANG BUIN! Where do you think you're going? I told you before, no matter where you go, I'll be able to find you!'

Hwang Bo turned to stone as she heard Hyun Joong calling out to her as the entire stadium screamed their cheers. Refusing to look at him, she willed the ground to open and swallow her whole and save her from his piercing gaze.

'I told you not to be scared. Hwang Buin, there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time now...'

'HWANG BUIN! SARANGHANDA!!!!!!!!'

Hwang Bo looked up as she saw thousands of sparks light up the sky. Laughing, she covered her mouth with her hands as she watched the most spectacular display of fireworks spell out their names.

Watching her closely, Hyun Joong stepped by her side and repeated softly into her ear.

'I will find a way for us both. I love you Buin...'

Closing her eyes, Hwang Bo said a quiet prayer as she felt her heart explode with happiness.

'God, if you can hear me, thank you. Thank you for bringing him into my life. Thank you.'

Hwang Bo found herself singing along to the song as Jinnie drove them to their destination. Looking at her from the corner of his eye, Jinnie let out a deep breath and kept quiet for the first time that day.

'She's still not over him..'

Bringing the car to a stop, he sat together with her as she continued singing with her eyes closed. It was only when the song came to an end that she opened her eyes and looked around, startled to see that they had stopped along an empty road.

'Jinnie, I thought that we were going to eat?'

'I didn't know where you wanted to go. So I figured instead of driving around and wasting fuel, I'd just stop and wait for you to tell me. Fuel's expensive you know.'

Smiling wistfully, Hwang Bo turned at him and shrugged while saying 'I've heard that before. But you know what? Life's too short to count dollars and cents. If all fails, then we can just work harder and go on more events.'

'Hmm.. that's really... profound.'

'I know right? And I know that you'd not understand. Never mind, let's just go to that Chinese restaurant around the corner. It's not too far from here.'

Jinnie looked at her as she turned her attention to the view outside. Setting the car in motion he thought to himself, 'I understand more than you'd ever know. I just wish that you'd see that sometimes.'

Hwang Bo opened the window, feeling the wind blow in her face. Scrunching her eyes, she looked at the sky and smiled to herself as she basked in the warmth of the sun.

'Hey Hwang Bo! Someone got into an accident by the side of the road!'

'Huh? Where?' Hwang Bo swiftly turned her head as she saw the car knocked into the curb. Getting out of the car, the both of them ran towards the driver hoping that everything was okay. Jinnie pulled open the door and reached out for the man sitting in the seat.

'Are you okay? Can you hear me?'

'Buin...'

Hwang Bo's eyes widened with shock when she saw that the man bleeding in the seat of the car was the very man that haunted her thoughts every single second of the day.

'Shillang...'

The shrill ringing of his phone woke Hyun Joong up from his reverie. Looking down he saw Kyu Jong calling him.

'Hello?'

'Hyung, where are you? I've been waiting here for 20 minutes. I thought you said you were on your way?'

'Kyu, yeah. I am on my way. Just wait there a while, alright?' Hyun Joong muttered before hanging up.

He took one last look at the picture that he was clutching in his hand before he placed it in his pocket and walked towards his car.

As he got into the driver's seat, he went through the motions of starting the car and headed out but even as he was driving, he knew that he wasn't even sure where he was going. He couldn't concentrate on the road, not when he was so lost inside.

'If only there was a navigation kit for your memories,' he thought before he felt his whole body lurch forward. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as he felt his car swing out of control, hitting the curb.

And then he saw her.

They were walking hand in hand with each other in a park, laughing at something they saw in passing. He remember feeling so content, when he heard her calling him.

'Shillang. I want you to promise me something.'

'Yeah?'

'Promise me first.'

'I have to hear what you want me to promise you first before I can do the deed. What if you want me to sell my guitars and buy a house?'

'It's not that!'

'Then what is it? You want a chicken shop?'

'No!'

'You want that wedding dress we used the last time. I said I'd buy you one, just not that one.'

'Shillang...'

'It was too revealing! I'll buy you one with lots of cloth okay? No holes in strange places at all. This, I will promise you.'

Laughing, she began hitting his arm and he pretended to run away from her.

'Shillang! That still isn't what I want!'

Turning around, Hyun Joong looked back at her as she gazed at him with her head cocked to one side. The sunshine spilled on her, giving her the angelic glow to her that he absolutely loved.

'Yes, Buin.. what do you want me to promise you?'

'I want you to promise me that no matter what happens, you'll always love me. No matter what people say, you'll always believe in me. No matter what, you'll always be with me, no matter where you are.'

Hyun Joong walked up to her and looked straight into her eyes.

'Why are you asking me to promise you something that I have already sworn to do?'

The last thing Hyun Joong saw before he closed his eyes was her radiant smile as she reached out to hug him.

'Buin...'

I'm coming home, I'm coming home,
Tell the world that I'm coming home!!

I'll finally be making that trip to Seoul come July! Woohoo!!! I know it's not exactly right around the corner, but it's near enough innit??

I'm going the the Land Of The Morning Calm, and will be pigging out on all my favorite goodies (alert the weighing scales, I am so gonna pack on the pounds, but it'll all be SO WORTH IT!)

This is definitely something I want to try in Seoul, as the last time I had it, I was in Kuching and IT WAS FANTASTIC! But this seems a little lonely without the mayonnaise and cheese sauces that was dripping off the potato in Kuching, I wonder if there are any sauces like that in Seoul... Hmm..

Anyone gonna be around in Seoul in July? Let me know!!

Hyun Joong looked up from the sofa he had settled himself on, his favorite spot to compose music and peered outside the window. The bright blue sky seemed to contrast the mood of his song, and he sighed out loud before reaching for his phone.

‘Kyu Joong-ah, where are you now?’

‘I’m about to step out to get cookies from the mart. What’s up?’

‘Nothing much, just feeling tired of being holed up in here for so long. Wait for me, I’ll go with you.’

Grabbing his keys, Hyun Joong headed for the door before he stopped in his tracks and turned his attention to the shelf on the right. Reaching his hand out, he pulled a picture from under the pile of books that always went unnoticed each time he passed the shelf.

He slowly turned the photo over, revealing the blissfully happy faces of two people who were laughing at the camera for their wedding photo shoot.

It was him.

And there she was.

Hyun Joong turned numb as he touched the face of the woman that had been haunting him for the past two years. Tears started forming in his eyes as he took her in, almost hearing her laughter as she threw her head back just as the camera clicked, preserving that moment in time forever. She looked so happy, in fact the both of them looked so happy.

So why did we start being unhappy?

Hwang Bo jolted awake as she heard the distinctive sound of something breaking in her kitchen. Grabbing her robe, she armed herself with her golf club as she inched her way towards the kitchen, ready to beat the daylights out of the robber that was stupid enough to create such a racket.

'Maybe he thought there wasn't anyone in, considering that it IS 2 in the afternoon,' she thought to herself before kicking herself for trying to rationalize why there was a robber in her house.

Creeping up to the door, she braced herself as she saw a tall man near the stove, she let out a loud yell before bringing up the club to smash on his back when she heard a voice that was all too familiar to her.

'Hwang Bo-ya! It's me!'

Opening her eyes slowly, she focused her eyes on the intruder that would have resembled Jinnie, only this man had a nasty looking beard.

'... Jinnie? Is that you?'

'What do you mean by is that me? Who else would be this good looking??' he asked her back indignantly.

'Who would look good with a caterpillar on their face! What is with that vagrant look, did your coordi decide on a hobo look this time round?'

'It's.. manly. That's what all the girls say. Not that you'd know, you're hardly one,' he retorted sulkily.

'Yeah, well whatever. What are you doing here, robber?'

'I was trying to feed both you and me. But your bowls are useless. They keep breaking on me.'

'That's because you keep breaking them, idiot. What are you going to make?'

'I bought jajjangmyun. The instant kind.'

Hwang Bo immediately looked over his shoulder and saw the packets of instant noodles that she had avoided for two years. She could suddenly hear the clanking of the pots as he tried so hard to be quiet, him cursing under his breath when he burnt his hands as he prepared that meal for the both of them as she pretended to sleep on the couch. She could still remember the bitterness of his noodles, as he had burnt the sauce cooking it 'his special way'. But most of all, she could remember his gleeful look as she told him it was the best instant noodles she ever had.

Happiness lied in the simplest of things.

However, so did pain.

Taking in a deep breath, she looked at Jinnie and tried to shut the memories away.

'Jinnie... when will you ever learn...'

'What did I do now??'

'Nothing. Let's just go out and have something. My treat.'

Whooping with joy, Jinnie dragged her out of the apartment as he chattered on nonstop about everything that had happened to him since the last time they met. She couldn't get a word in, but she smiled at him as he did what he did best all the time. Whirlwind into her life like a typhoon of joy, cheering her up with his simplicity, and not knowing that his voice could be the the soothing balms for her aching heart.

Studying the man that was by her side now, Hwang Bo thought to herself.

'Jinnie... Sometimes, I wish... that it could have been you that stole my heart instead... That way, maybe all of us would have been happier...'

Hwang Bo takes on Black Swan

Hwang Bo made an appearance on the streets of Kangnam during the recording of Infinite Girls, dressed as Natalie Portman's character in the movie 'Black Swan', creating much laughter at her parody version of the movie.

Pictures as well as a poster of her as the Black Swan were released on Twitter, garnering much positive responses by netizens who claimed that she looked exactly the same as in the movie.

Hyun Joong preps up for his solo album

After a long while, Hyun Joong is finally working hard towards his very own solo album!

A representative from his management company, KeyEast, has stated that Hyun Joong is currently in the midst of the preparations for his solo album and has been very dedicated in making the album a success as this was his first solo album away from his SS brothers.

He has also been very active in the production of the album, as he has been expressing his view and opinions on the lineup of the album, portraying how serious and passionate he is about his music.

The album is scheduled for a May/ June release.

After a long silence

I am back!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am well and slowly coming back out of the shell that I have been in over the past one month. It's been a long time since I last posted, or basically done anything fun on the internet, so I am dreadfully behind news and dramas and such.

Hwang Bo recently revealed a picture taken of herself saying 'I'm fully energized! Going in for shooting now!'on her Twitter account.

She went on to say 'Despite knowing that this is something one has to do, there are times when one doesn't feel like doing it at all... should today be one of those days?' and asked 'Tweet friends, when times like these come about, what kind of mental attitude do you carry with you?'

Having read the messages left for her online, she thanked those who left the words of encouragement for her and stated that she was feeling fully energized and put up a picture of herself at that moment.

Her picture depicted her bubbly and cheerful self, complete with her little 'V' sign, giving off a feeling of spontaneity and animatedness.

Netizens commented that she looked her very best when she smiles, and spurred her on with words of encouragement.

Hwang Bo the athlete

Hwang Bo participated in the 50m indoor sprint event, which was part of the 'Idol Star Athletics', held on the 23rd at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.

The sporting event saw the participation of both male and female celebrities such as 2PM, 2AM, Trax, Tiaa, Brown Eyed Girls, Beast, SHINee, Son Ho Young. Some of the other sports which were part of the event included hurdles, high jump and relays.

This episode will be broadcast on MBC from the 5-6th February at 8.40 p.m. (Seoul time).

'I'm doing this for myself! I know what I have on the line, and it's not my career. I know that if I leave her, this will be the end for me. This is what I will lose. And I don't want to make that mistake, ever again!'

Hwang Bo stood by the side of the wall as she listened in on Hyun Joong fighting with his manager. She could feel the anger and frustration radiating from the both of them, and she knew that she was the reason why they were lashing out at each other.

Sighing, she crouched low as she laid her head on her knees, thinking if this was the right decision.

'Yes it is. We both know what we want. It's time that we did things for ourselves, and not for our image, our careers, our so called lives which basically left us empty inside. Why was it so wrong to want to be happy?' she thought to herself as she looked at the both of them again.

Hwang Bo greeted the soft rays of the morning sun with a slight smile as they peered through the grey clouds that filled the sky. Breathing in the salty air of the sea, she pulled her sweater closer to her, feeling the chilly air surrounding her as she slowly came back to life.

Why is it that although the needles of the clock keeps ticking away, I still feel like I am frozen in a time that no longer exists?

Opening her eyes, she looked around her and saw nothing but an empty beach. It was too early in the morning for anyone to be awake, and it was times like these that she felt free. She could be true to herself without having to fake a smile on her face, assuring everyone that she was alright. That she had moved on. That she was finally happy.

There was something about the beach that brought both pain and joy to her heart. It was here that she had spent some of the happiest moments in her life, as well as some of the most heart wrenching episodes of her story.

She remembered that this was where he promised to meet her whenever she called. This was the place that they had placed their vows in the sand. This was the place that tied the both of them together, binding them to their promises to each other.

Except for that last night. The one night when he broke his promise and she knew that it was the end. That night she felt like dying inside as she cried to the ocean, wishing it would take away the unbearable hurt she felt inside.

And the ocean granted her wish.

The waves that washed her feet reminded her that while things change with time, the tides would always return to where they belonged. People didn’t stop living because they lost what they loved.

They lived because they had once laid claim to their love.

When you were here before, couldn't look you in the eye, you're just like an angel, your skin makes me cry.

Hyun Joong strummed his guitar, singing the one song that seemed to calm him down as he thought about what happened the night before.

‘Hyung! Are you okay?’

‘Buin? Is that you?’

‘Yong Saeng hyung! Help!!’

Hyun Joong looked up at the person shaking him awake and slowly came back to his senses. Shaking his head, he slowly got off the floor and leaned against the table, holding his hands to his head. He did not realize that his face was wet with tears, he didn’t know why the memory of that missing person in his life seemed to torment him more than anyone knew.

‘Kyu Jong ah… what is wrong with me? Why do I keep remembering this person, this name, and this laughter when I don’t remember her at all? Who is this person? Why does it hurt so badly when I have no idea who she is at all?’

‘Hyung…’

‘No, listen to me. I want to remember, yet I am afraid to remember. I want to know who she is, yet I don’t dare to. If she really was someone important to me then why isn’t she here now? If the thought of her can make me hurt this badly, that should mean that she was someone I held dear to me right? Then why am I here alone?’ he asked before breaking down in loud sobs.

Kyu Jong watched Hyun Joong crumbling before him before he made his decision. He had to know the truth. No matter what everyone else said.

‘Hyung… I need to tell you something.’

‘Hyungsunim.. she was someone special. To all of us, but mostly to you. She could brighten up a room just by being there, and the best thing about her was her laughter. You used to think of everything you could just to get her to laugh for you, and when she did, you were the happiest person in the world.’

‘Then where is she now?’

‘She… she… she stopped contacting us after you broke up with her hyung. It was you who let her walk away, even though we all knew she really wanted to stay…’

“He’s at it again… he’s doing it again…”

Kyu Jong opened his eyes as he heard the familiar thumping of Hyun Joong’s head against the table. Sitting up, he wondered if they made the right choice when they decided that he didn’t need to know or remember everything. The memories that drove him down that path of self destruction should be kept away and never brought back to surface… right?

At least that was what they all felt at that time. But now, it just didn’t seem like the right choice. Outwardly, Hyun Joong seemed to be living a normal life, but only his brothers knew the pain he was going through. He spent his days wondering what was missing in his life, almost begging to be told the truth only to be pushed away with a picture perfect drawing called his life.

Walking towards the kitchen, Kyu Jong peered at the lonely figure that was once his confident hyung. Sighing, he pulled up a chair opposite Hyun Joong and called out his name.

‘Hyun Joongie hyung.. it’s past midnight. You should be sleeping.’

Looking up, Hyun Joong managed a small smile at Kyu Jong before staring off into space again.

‘Yeah, I know. But strangely enough, sleep doesn’t come easily to me these days. Was I always like that?’

‘Nope. You were the sleeping god of our group. You would jump at any opportunity to sleep the day away, even thinking that it was perfectly normal to be hibernating.’

Hyun Joong scoffed at that remark and looked at Kyu Jong in the eye.

‘Well, if that was the truth, then I wish that part of me would come back.’

‘It was really true hyung. You could sleep through almost anything, except for tickles.’

At the mention of tickles, Hyun Joong looked up at Kyu Jong sharply before he saw a vision in his mind, of himself being shaken awake by a woman wearing an apron and trying to reach for his sides to tickle him more. The vision was so vivid that he could hear her laughter, but before he could see her face, his head suddenly felt like it was bursting and he fell over the table in pain.

‘HYUNG!!! Wake up, hyung!!!!’

A little project of mine that has been on my mind for sometime now, just never executed. Pardon the lack of structure, I just wanted to vent and write something I wanted to write, and not something I was asked to write. ^^

What I remember: 1

Hyun Joong woke up in sweat once more, to the same dream that he had been having for the past two years. It was always the same dream, of him talking to someone whom he called Bu In at a place so high up that it felt that he could reach out and touch the clouds. And he could see the side profile of a woman so beautiful that it ached, as she sat crying at his words. But try as hard as he could, he could never see her face. He could never hear her voice. All he remember was the stabbing pain he felt, as he wanted to reach out to her so badly, yet was unable to.

Getting up from his bed, he walked out of his room and into the kitchen and poured himself a glass of water. These past two years just flew by in a blink of an eye as he was kept so busy with his work that he didn’t feel the days go by. He understood why everyone wanted to keep him so occupied, they were all worried that he would once again think of throwing himself out that window, the way he did that fateful morning two years ago, when he woke up and remembered absolutely nothing.

His SS501 brothers told him that he was involved in an accident, and that he was in a coma for a week before regaining consciousness. While he felt that they did tell him truth, there was a suspicion that they were holding back something from him. Not just them, everyone around him seemed to walk about as though he was an active landmine, about to explode at the slightest revelation of his past.

And no matter how he tried to pry into his past, he was always fed with the same information. That he was the leader of a successful Hallyu group. That he was venturing into acting. That he was the youngest son of his family. That he was once in love with a girl but had to lose her because of his work. That she was now happily married off to someone else. That he wanted to be the brightest star in the universe and would never stop working towards that direction.

But that didn’t stop him from feeling that there was a missing piece to his jigsaw puzzle. There was always that distant memory of a woman his heart ached to hold, that woman called Bu In. The one that came to him every night, and went away before he could touch her face and see her one more time.

And he would be left with the same question he asked himself every night.

Who is she?

Hyun Joong's thoughts on dramas, the future and marriage

Hyun Joong, who has just recently wrapped up his second drama 'Playful Kiss', has definitely been in the media spotlight. The drama did not garner high ratings in terms of viewership, but was a hit online, and the YouTube editions of the drama drew in over 8 million hits.

When asked about his feelings towards the dismally low ratings that the drama received, he was rather positive in his answer as he stated that he was not all that bothered about the numbers. What mattered to him was the experience and lessons that he learnt from the drama. He realized that it wasn't easy to become a leading actor in a drama, and that although high ratings would have been great, he wasn't going to dwell on it as Playful Kiss was a drama that he held dear to him and was a project that he was proud of.

He also stated that while he was happy with his choice of dramas, he would prefer to not take on any roles such as that of Yoon Ji Hoo and Baek Seung Jo as they were too romantic for him. He also said that he would like to take on more beefy roles that would see him in a tougher light.

Hyun Joong also discussed his future, as he mentioned that he had to work his way upwards now, and assert himself as an established actor. As Hyun Joong will be the ripe age of 26 next year, he stated that it won't be long before he will be called to serve in the army, and after that he will have to return to the movie industry and continue to strengthen his foothold in the industry.

Considering such circumstances, he decided that he would not think of marriage anytime soon. Any talk of marriage would have to take place at least 10 years from now. While he had initially hoped to tie the knot before he turned 30, he now knows that it was almost impossible for him to do so as he neither has the time nor a partner in his life at the moment, hence his marriage plans will probably only happen when he is about 40.

Hyun Joong will be working on more overseas activities as well as album recording activities in the first half of 2011.

Hyun Joong was recently in both Singapore and Malaysia as part of his promotional activities for the Face Shop, which he now represents.

He had a meet and greet session with the fans in both Singapore and Malaysia, as well as press conferences with the local media. He stated that despite having such a short time with his fans, he was happy to have had those moments with them.

He also made another contribution to charity as he donated the proceeds from the auctioning of his autograph to NGO World Vision.

... the last month of the year again...

So 2010 has been a somewhat exciting, tumultuous, exhausting yet refreshing year for me. Did a lot of things that I never thought I'd do, and met with a lot of friends that I had not seen in ages. This year was also another one that made me realize that there are so many other things that I can do, that I should do, but I had refrained from doing.

Which isn't right, is it?

SO I guess 2010 was a year of enlightenment for me? In a way, yeah...

Looking back on the year, I see that I have sort of moved on and away from a few things. Friends have drifted away, and some have grown closer, but we all know that we do think of each other and care right? I love you guys! *hugs*

I think I will be going back to law, been tutoring first years, and it's weird seeing how different it is to be a student and to actually impart knowledge. And it made me realize how much I missed law. How weird is that? I used to feel trapped by it, and now, I feel like I need to go back and see a family member that I have missed for ages.

And it's been great having this place as an outlet for things in my life, and to know that I am not alone here in my realm of fandom. Even though it may seem that I am a fan of something that has been forgotten by time, I really don't think that it matters. Why should me liking something have to have a time limit? Why must there be an expiry date on something as simple as that? I won't stop doing anything I want to do just because someone else thinks that I need to wake up and smell the coffee. I do smell the coffee, and it's great. I just like having my cake with my coffee as well, thank you very much!

Which pretty much says that I will still be blogging here, even if it may not be as often as before. But I won't give this up! ^^

Anyways, I have been watching both Secret Garden and Mary Stayed Out All Night and both dramas are simply AMAZING!!! Especially Mary, I would wanna get married too if I had a Kang Mu Gyul in my life.

Ya, Kang Mu Gyul! Where are you? I am waiting!

Christmas is coming soon as well!! The cheer and present buying has started since what, September? But it's finally starting to kick in now that it's DECEMBER!!! ^^

I haven't really been featuring any news on Hyun Joong lately, so this are all the interesting bits done in a jiffy! Will be more dedicated to him soon, I promise!

1) Hyun Joong donated the proceeds he earned from his final 'Playful Kiss' event in support of women's soccer. He also teamed up with Adidas and donated some 23 million won worth of sporting goods to the women's soccer team. Keyeast revealed that he decided to do this as he has always been a strong supporter of soccer, and wanted to do something to encourage the girls to not give up on their dreams and to continue to work hard towards their goals.

2) Hyun Joong will also be representing Korea at the opening of the Asian Games 2010 in Guangzhou on the 12th.

3) Fans of Playful Kiss can look forward to more goodness via YouTube, as they have announced that they will be releasing more footage on the popular streaming portal. Hyun Joong also mentioned that as there were lesser restrictions on YouTube, fans can anticipate more lovey dovey scenes between him and Ha Ni. I am pretty sure that there are some episodes circulating on YouTube now, so don't forget to watch!

4) Hyun Joong and Joe Cheng will also be on the same stage in Japan as they will participate in a concert that aims at helping the lesser privileged children in the Philippines and Cambodia.

5) Hyun Joong attended the Seoul Fashion Week which was held from the 22nd till the 28th.

Hwang Bo's sexy back revealed

Hwang Bo has released another set of photos highlighting her sexiness following the revelation of her semi-nude photo which was taken as the jacket cover of her single album 'I am still beautiful'.

These pictures feature Hwang Bo revealing her sexy back, and were taken by Star Hwabo using the 'Sexy Queen' concept. The photo shoot was conducted in Macau, also known as Asia's Europe and was a 5 day 4 night project which began on the 11th.

Hwang Bo posed in several outfits, including a bikini as well as several glamourous and luxurious outfits, and her femininity exuded in all these photos.

An official spokesperson stated that Hwang Bo is one of the first to be featured in such a pictorial in Star Hwabo, and the response has been good thus far, especially since the revelation of her album jacket. He also said to look forward to more from her in the later part of 2010.

Hwang Bo: I weigh the same as male idol group members

Hwang Bo revealed that her body weight was the same as male idol group 'Infinite' member, Song Jung, during the recording of her cable programme, which also sees Hyung Joon as a host together with her.

Hyung Joon had earlier commented that the Song Jung was too thin and stated that he hoped that he would gain some weight, leading Hwang Bo to ask him how heavy he was. When she heard that he was 52 kgs, she exclaimed that that was the same weight that she was and even went as far as to say that he really was her rival, bringing about much laughter on the set.

Last week Hwang Bo had stated that Song Jung looked even better than her while he was dancing, and created even more laughter with her latest revelation of envy this week.

It's been practically a month...

... since I last updated here! I know, I know, I am a horrible correspondent.

Or a blog upkeeper.

Oh well.

Been going through some revamping in my life, made several crucial decisions and finally come to live with the fact that while I do make wrong decisions sometimes, they have been important parts of my life.

Anyways, to cut a long story short, I've done quite a fair bit of readjusting and basically brought everything back to point one.

And I am happy.

Now I have a little more time to do things that I enjoy, and to think of where I am headed off to now. Plus, I recently bought myself a HUGE TV to hog in my room, and I am truly enjoying watching everything supersized!

Ah, bliss!!

My parents are enjoying seeing me do that, as can be seen from the way they keep opening my door to check in on me and to ask if I want anything. I think they're just happy that I am home. Haha!

I will be updating a bit more later, just trying to sort out what I want to do first, so hopefully there'll be quite a lot of buzz from me over the next few days!

Hyun Joong, you have totally blown me away. I never thought that you'd improve so much over such a short period of time, but you proved everyone wrong. No longer are you the wooden Ji Hoo seonbae from KPN.

I absolutely love you in 장난!!!!

After watching a marathon of six episodes, I found myself wanting more. I can't wait for the next episode to air! And so because of my fondness of this drama, I decided to post some of my fave scenes with my own thoughts of the drama.

It won't run in any particular order, but just a general outlook of what I feel about the drama.

Funnily enough, I found that there were so many familiar things about the drama, the way Ha Ni reminds me so much of my friend Hye Kyung, from the way she talks to her facial expressions. They don't look the same, but they feel the same. Does that make sense?

And her best friend! Looks just like my cousin! Well, when my cousin was about 10 years younger that is. Now she's a proud mother of two extremely lively boys and an angel of a daughter, but Ma Ri unnie, doesn't Min Ah look just like you? The same hairstyle, the same round eyes, the same glasses back then.. It's you!

And honestly speaking, I think Seung Jo's mom looks like Song Hye Kyo. Am I the only one that thinks so?

Hwang Bo has graced the cover of Thai magazine Lisa!! She also mentioned on her Twitter that she had taken the pictures featured in the magazine when she went to Thailand last week.

Hwang Bo was also in Thailand for a fan meeting session with her fans, and was greeted by them at the airport when she arrived late at night.

Other Korean artistes who have been featured in Lisa include Rain in 2007 and Super Junior's Shiwon and Donghae in 2009.

She greeted her fans and shook their hands as she emerged in sunglasses and was all smiles that night.

Shim Tae Yoon commented on his own Twitter that Hwang Bo was exceptionally popular in Thailand, and thanked the fans for waiting up to greet them at the airport even when it was so late at night. He also commented that Hwang Bo was like the Thai Angelina Jolie.

A few quick updates on our favorite man and woman!

1) Hyun Joong's latest drama fizzled on the ratings scale, as it only managed to garner 3.5% to 3.7% of the viewership ratings when it debuted last week. However, there has been rave reviews about Hyun Joong's acting, which has vastly improved since his KPN days, and the fact that there has been a large amount of numbers downloading the episodes. I have yet to watch it, thanks to the evil entity known as work, but I will definitely watch it these next two nights! I have faith!

2) Hwang Bo was also recently in Thailand for a fanmeeting entitled 'A Moment In Time with Hwang Bo 2010! Lucky fans! She also had a photoshoot and several interview sessions while she was in Thailand. Muize, did you go?

3) Hyun Joong has also been signed on as the new face of 'The Face Shop', which has also been endorsed by Bae Yong Jun. I've used products from The Face Shop before, not too bad. But I don't really like the eye shadows, it doesn't seem to last as long as Etude House. Or maybe it's just me.

My lovely land of the long white cloud

Aaahhh....

I never thought I'd miss Wellington this badly, but I do. I remember thinking that Welly was a great place, but just not happening enough. It was a nice place to lead a stoic, but fulfilling life, but just not enough excitement.

Which was what I was craving for the minute I was done with uni.

And so I moved, and tried a series of new things, new experiences. Did a lot of things that I think I shouldn't have, but, hey no regrets!

Until a friend from good old Welly came to visit. It was fantastic meeting him again, discussing our favourite haunts, talking about what has changed. Remarkably, a lot has changed in the years that I have not been back. Not drastic changes of course, but enough to make me feel like I've been away for decades. It's just one of those personal things, that only I'd feel I think.

And he's going back home this weekend.

And it struck me.

How much I longed to be on that flight back as well. I miss my coffees, I miss my library. I miss Hell's pizza and partying down Courteney. I miss the pies from the local delis, and the chips from Mr. Bun. I miss my good old TVB aunty who used to smile at me and ask me 'Sik jor fan mei ah, sai mui?' and would always keep the episodes of the dramas that I wanted on hold for me, despite the fact that others would want the same episodes as well.

I miss the ajumma from the Korean restaurant on Manners who would always cook up a pajeon for me when I go for my jajjangmyun. The ajussi who would always ask me if I wanted a fried egg on top of my jajjangmyun. And his familiar smile and wave goodbye as he says 'Kungbu chalhaeyaji. Nei il do ua!'

I miss the regular buses, I miss the train station. I miss the bookstores, the countless cafes dotted all over darling Welly. I miss going to Mt. Victoria at night and seeing the lights all over the city. The firework displays on Guy Fawkes. The cable car rides to botanical gardens, the familiar walk up Kelburn to reach my classes at Murphy, shopping at Glassons and Shanton and all around Lambton. Taking the bus to Karori to meet my friends. Going all the way to Newlands just to have dinner.

I miss Te Papa, I miss the harbour, heck I even miss New World and their daily specials.

But most of all I miss my friends and family. I miss everyone whom I used to see everyday, at any time.

Gosh, Welly... I just miss you.

I want to go back too...

More on Hyun Joong's latest drama project!

The posters and the trailers are out, and it seems like the excitement is mounting for this drama! I have to admit, Jung So Min is absolutely adorable in the posters and trailer. I have a strong feeling that this drama is going to garner a lot of fans rooting for their pairing.

Hyun Joong seems to be a lot more smiley in the trailer compared to the Japanese and Taiwanese male leads, who carried on a more sullen, nonchalant air about the female lead.

Although I think that he's just being smiley for the sake of the trailer. I mean, the pics that were released during their walk to school had Hyun Joong looking every bit as sullen as Joe Cheng.

And Joe Cheng is absolutely fantastic! I loved him in all his roles, but my absolute fave has got to be the androgynous role that he took on in The Rose. Now who can hate Kui, who was so confused yet so determined to love, and be loved in return?

Plus he was just so super adorable when he was bratty with his siblings, and so full of himself!!

I heart Kui.

But I digress. Back to 장난!!

The first stills from MBC drama 'It Started With A Kiss' have been released!

The stills, which were released by production team Group 8 stated that the two main leads, Hyun Joong and Jung So Min began filming the romantic drama on the 24th in Seoul. The both of them , dressed in their school uniforms, appeared to be bickering on the streets, as they immersed themselves into their characters.

Hyun Joong also stated that he would do his best to portray his character to the best he can, and cast aside the image that he had as Ji Hoo in KPN.

Hyun Joong has been confirmed as the main lead for the Korean version of Itzura No Kiss, or It Started With A Kiss.

Based on a popular manga, this series garnered much love from fans, and two drama versions produced by Japan and Taiwan were filmed prior to the announcement that Korea will also jump on this bandwagon. The series was so popular in Taiwan that there was a sequel filmed following the first installment of the drama.

It has also been announced that Jung So Min will be playing the female lead in this drama.

Hyun Joong finally made the plunge and left DSP Entertainment. I know that there are countless of reports out there churning out all the same info that he has left DSP for Bae Yong Joon's Keyeast, but I thought that I'd just share my thoughts on this matter.

It's been something that has brought about much speculation ever since news came out that his contract with DSP was ending and that he was being scouted by other companies. Would he stay? Would he move on? Some people viewed this as a test of his loyalty and of his character as DSP were the ones who 'found' him, moulded him, made him the 'Kim Hyun Joong, Asian superstar' that we all know and love today.

Honestly speaking, I am grateful to DSP for polishing this stone into the fine gem that he is today. One cannot deny that without the backing and smart marketing of agencies, even the most talented people can go unnoticed. But does that mean that he should stay on just because they were the ones who gave him the opportunity to be where he is today?

Maybe, to some people.

But there's also another faction which believes that one should always look forward, look for ways to further improve oneself. As well as learn how to grab opportunities when they come knocking, especially when one feels that one can achieve so much more in another place.

I don't know what his reasons for leaving are, but all I know is one thing, that as a fan, I'll support whatever decision he makes. Only he knows what he's going through and to be able to make such a decision, I believe that he has thought everything through and found out that at the end of the day, this is the right choice.

So my take on the matter is, congratulations Hyun Joong! I look forward to seeing more success from you!

Plus it wouldn't hurt if you added some extra, extremely favorable news as well!

It's me! I'm back! ^^Y!!

Well, not really though.

I know that it's been really silent here for ages now, and I'm sorry for that. However, I think that I may be a little quiet for a while more. I can't really say anything at the moment, but I'll try to update a little every now and then.

It's been really bad for a while, I missed so many events like their 2 year and other projects and stuff, but it's great seeing the love continuing to grow! I just wish I played a more active part in all this now, it's gotten to a point where it's almost like it's time for me to retire and see the rest carry on the flame.

Hyun Joong recently filmed the music video for Gummy's latest title track 'Because I'm A Man'.

Hyun Joong, together with actress Jung Ryeo Won, filmed the music video through the night from the 22nd and 23rd. Hyun Joong willingly appeared as the main character of this music video due to the fact that both he and Gummy are close friends in real life, and this was his way of showing his support to her with the release of her first album in two years.

Hey there guys,

I've been thinking a lot lately. Had a few things happen, and a few things that didn't happen.. A bit of this and that, but then hey, that's what life is about innit?

Reflecting back on the past two years, I think I have kinda done quite a few things. But I've also paid the price for such actions. I don't know if I can really express myself, but I wish I treated some people better. I wish I was more honest with them. And I wish I could make it up to them, but in a way, it's too late. I took too long. And I can't do anything about it anymore.

Oh well. That's just the way things are sometimes.

Gosh, I just feel so negative.

I think I'm gonna go watch Joongbo again. For the first time in about a year. I need to watch something sincere, something real. Something... that puts the faith back in you.

And maybe, I'll be more positive. And real. And more... me.

SS Concert in Seoul

A quick round of updates about Hyun Joong for now. Encompasses some good news, and some not so good news.. sigh.. The life of a celebrity...

1) Hyun Joong was partnered with Yoon Eun Hye as spokespeople for popular clothing brand Basic House. The style of clothes that he models carries a confortable, stylish and is easy to mix and match with. All I can say is that he can be wearing a rug and it'll still look like high fashion to me.

2) Plans to have Hyun Joong take on the role as Kang In Ho in the drama series 'You are my pet' has also been shelved. Which to me is a good thing as I can't see him in that role unless it's with a certain someone. Muahahahahaha!

3) Hyun Joong has also been receiving lashes from netizens for attending the birthday party of previous president, Jeon Do Hwan, who have stated that he should have been more sensitive towards the response of the public as he is a celebrity. Despite responses from DSP explaining the whole matter, they have not changed their tones and are still frowning upon his attending the party.

4) Hyun Joong also went on holiday with Hero Jae Joong to Canada, on the 7th of January showing the world that they are really good friends in real life. This holiday was initially under the wraps until fans living in Vancouver snapped pictures of them there and uploaded it onto the internet. There have been fan accounts saying that they are really chummy and good looking in person! Lucky fans!

Hello people! As promised, I'm back and this time I'm going to spazz about Hong Kong/Macau. Well, this is nothing new if you have visited Soompi for quite some time now but I just feel like topping out for those who still have no idea about the news. Ok, here goes!*puts on the spazzing cap*

When I mentioned Hong Kong, most of you might have probably thought of Hyun Joong and Yong Saeng's scandal incident in Lan Kwai Fong. But then Hyun Joong has cleared the things out saying that the two women that were with them that day were old friends who have been staying in Hong Kong. Then later in the end of 2009, Hyun Joong was spotted at an egg tart shop in Macau together with his parents. A video taken by a fan has surfaced on the net.

The latest, Hyun Joong was spotted in Macau during 2010 new year's eve by some fans while they were watching the fireworks. The fans even took pictures with him. Then it was said that right after the picture taking he left the scene immediately, most probably because he wanted to avoid speculations and such. When I first heard about this news, I was seriously curious. Like why does Hyun Joong loves Hong Kong so much? By that time I was wishing that if only we have known about Hwangbo's whereabouts because she didn't have any specific schedules nor shows not until the 1st of January 2010 since she has to perform at a bar in Korea.

Then on the day she updated her Cyworld, it seems like she has brought all the missing pieces together. She updated her Hong Kong pictures and wrote that she was there from 28~31.12.2009.

Seriously, don't you guys think that this is too much of a give away? That it is almost impossible to say that this is just a coincidence. Like seriously, how can these two persons that we have never seen together in a show again right after WGM, can be at the same place at the same time for a holiday? Hyun Joong have been there for a couple of times in year 2009 and why chose to spend the end of year 2009 there? But then, Hwangbo's updates have seem to answer the all the questions. :)

In my opinion (though I might be wrong), Hong Kong could be their sacred place or something. I remember on the new year's eve of 2009, me and some other Joongboers were spending the whole night spazzing about the same thing, about how the two were both in Hong Kong by that time; Hwangbo for her Olive show and Hyun Joong for BOF. It was also around that time that Hwangbo started to be spotted with her famous SCR black ring. Therefore I'm assuming that around late December must have been their anniversary or something. :D

Seriously, I think both of them are hinting their relationship but you have to break some codes in order to figure them out. But then regardless, I have a high hope on them. Keep the positivity people. A few more months before Hyun Joong's contract with DSP ends and who knows by that day, we will all hear the big news?

Hello! I'm BlurryFella87. You might have known me from Soompi or my YT Channel but I'm not an active user. Anyway, I hope that I am welcome here as my posts will be more to the "spazzing" side rather news or articles that are legit. I could be wrong as it is 100% based on my assumption but hey, that are what spazzes are all about right? :D

Anyway, for my first post, I want to post something from Hwangbo's Cyworld as she just updated her minihompi yesterday. Everyone knows she likes to give us hints through her Cyworld right? (or at least I think so).

This is how her page looks like yesterday,

If you have noticed, she inserted a dancing Marie Cat on her Miniroom. Don't you think that the cat seems very familiar?

It's the exact same cat. The icon in her Minihompi even dances in the same way as her aegyo in the episode. I don't think that Hwangbo puts it there just by coincidence or just for fun. She is a very detailed person. She said it herself in the Come To Play; Blood A Type special not very long ago. So I guess, it must have mean something.

Heyya everyone!!!!!

A brief note for now, I've been a little preoccupied lately.. Haha, I know I know, I just said that I'd be updating more often and look at me. I apologize!!

Anyways, I have just received some really good and promising news!! As of now, it hasn't been confirmed or anything, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

I will be sharing the news with everyone soon and although it may never get confirmed (or at least not so soon), I think it's nice to have some hope!

Another thing is that Blurryfella87 will be joining on as a guest blogger! Most of you guys will know her from Soompi, and she's a really great person and spazzy friend to have! She will also be posting more news that she sources from places that I'd never think of looking! Plus she's a really good person to analyze and search for CSI bits with! All I can say is, thank goodness she's on holiday now!! So do look out for more posts added by her!

Hyun Joong: Stands in first place as the most prominent star in 2010

An online poll organized by DC Inside regarding the most prominent tigers (those born in 1986) saw Hyun Joong standing in first place.

The poll ran from the 29th of December till the 5th of January, and the end results showed Hyun Joong coming in first place, garnering 2,890 votes out of a total of 10,636 votes. Fellow group member, Ho Yong Saeng, came in second place with 1,894 votes.

The drama KPN has brought about much popularity for Hyun Joong, earning him the nickname 'The people's seonbae' amongst his fans. 2009 also noted that he was one of the most searched artistes online.

Other artistes following after Hyun Joong and Ho Young Saeng include Chang Min from 2 AM and DBSK's Mickey Yoochun and U-Know Yunho.

I know that it's really late and the year has already started in full swing, but I wanted to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hwang Bo: I feel apologetic to Kang Dong Won as I always refer to him as my ideal type

Hwang Bo stated that Kang Dong Won is her ideal type.

Hwang Bo was featured in an episode of Yo You Man Man, where she stated that she liked guys who did not get angry at her when she did something wrong but explains her mistakes to her instead, and accepts her for who she is.

She then added that if she was judging from looks alone, then her ideal man is Kang Dong Won, as he just seems that someone she would like. She then apologized for constantly referring to him throughout the show, displaying her cautious side.

Yoo Seon, who was featured as well, said that Hwang Bo had shown her her handphone and said that she was going to show her a picture of her boyfriend, which turned out to be a picture of Kang Dong Won, causing Hwang Bo to get all flustered.

Hwang Bo also wished Kang Dong Won a merry christmas on the show.

Yes, yes I know I am on holiday and should be updating more frequently, but honestly I have been trying to stay away from the internet and the computer... and trying to be more real. Life is too full of technology, don't you think? A break from it all is good... ^^!

Although I will most likely be getting a Blackberry, which would mean that I will be more tied down to technology.. but never mind. That's another matter altogether. Haha! On to the news!

1) Hyun Joong is the most searched for artiste on the internet in 2009, as he has been appearing on more programmes as he and the other boys carry on their promotional activites. He has also been noted to have one of the most charming smiles. His fans have stated on online forums that his smile is so charming that one is rendered helpless just by looking at him smile so naturally.

2) Hyun Joong and Kim Yoon Ah were selected as the best CF models in 2009 by netizens around thanks to their healthy images and charming smiles.

3) Hwang Bo attended Reebok's PUMP 20th anniversary on the 4th. (Yes, I know very old news. But I just wanted to add her pics in here!)

Hyun Joong: I dated a celebrity before

Hyun Joong openly admitted that he was in a relationship with a famous celebrity before when he appeared on SBS's 'Strong Heart'.

He made the revelation after stating that he wasn't one to lie and said that the other party was also a famous celebrity. He added that the both of them did what most couples do together when they were on dates such as going fishing, going on for drives and going to the movies.

He was in a relationship with her for about five months.

He also said that he did not keep his relationship in the dark and that they had even gone to eat sashimi at an open market together.

His members, Hyung Joon and Jung Min stated that they were unaware of the relationship, but Eun Ji claimed to have knowledge of their relationship, creating much curiousity amongst everyone present.

They asked what kind of girl he dated and he answered that she was someone who was very easy going and cool.

Kyu Joong revealed that he witnessed a guy giving Young Saeng a kiss during Young Saeng's birthday...

And proceeded to bring Hyun Joong to the front, as he said that he would reveal the guy on 'Intimate Note'.

They then revealed that both Hyun Joong and Young Saeng were playing a game, and faced the penalty of having to kiss each other.

Jung Min also revealed that the both of them have always maintained a relationship of awkwardness, whereby the both of them were not able to converse as freely with each other as they do with the others.

Young Saeng stated that they were close, but strangely, the both of them were just unable to talk to each other.

Hyun Joong also admitted that despite being with Young Saeng 290 days out of the 365 days in a year, he was unable to act as informally around Young Saeng as he did with the rest of the members, and that if Young Saeng were to be late for any schedules, he'd just unknowingly say that it's okay whereas if it were the other boys, he wouldn't be as lenient, and would get angry with them.

The SS boys and Kara were both guests on Intimate Note where they were asked to reveal secrets that noobody knew about. The two groups, who are from the same company, spent an enjoyable time together as they sang and danced while having fun together throughout the programme.

Hyun Joong was posing like an experienced model during the recent HotSun Chicken photoshoot held on the 1st in Seoul.

He was shooting photos for the 'Kim Hyun Joong and his girlfriend' event organized by HotSun Chicken, and was seen posing naturally throughout the shoot. The themes for the photoshoot has also been revealed, and will include Christmas and Valentine's Day themes.

This event has attracted as many as 3000 hopeful competitors, all hoping to be cast as one of the three female models who will be featured with Hyun Joong.

Just a brief round of updates before I start traveling again! I'll try and update as I wander around, either news or just to let you guys I'm still kicking about! ^^Y!!!

1) Hyun Joong is currently at first place in the Taiwan online poll for Asia's Best Star, after having received a total of 41, 235 votes from netizens. He has been gaining popularity in Taiwan after having played the role of Ji Hoo in KPN. This poll will be held until the 4th of December and the results are to be announced in mid December.

2) Hwang Bo participated in the 17th Korea Culture Award ceremony on the 30th of November, performing her techtonik moves on stage. Looking hot as always!

3) Hyun Joong will be paired together with So Ae in 'You're My Pet', if the both of them do decide to take on the roles in the movie. Which kind of makes me wonder, why are such news articles being released if there is no definitive answer? Kinda makes it pointless in a way, as they are creating such a stir with the possible castings, but should it all fall through it seems like they are gonna be stuck in a situation where people are either gonna love the cast change or just hate it. Gah.. Just my two cents worth.

4) Hwang Bo also performed at the 'I Am Compassion- Because I love you' concert on the 27th of November. This concert is another marker in her hugely long list of charity work that she has been actively participating in over the years.

And this is another reason why I want to be just like her. Beauty, brains and most importantly, a heart of gold.

Hyun Joong: Life after being Ji Hoo - I can't eat at tteokpokki stalls

Hyun Joong revealed what life was like for him after portraying KPN's Ji Hoo on Happy Together Season 3.

He stated that as he portrayed Ji Hoo, he got used to driving expensive cars and fine dining that after he returned to being Hyun Joong, it was difficult for him to adapt to his usual life such as eating at tteokpokki outlets and all.

However, he said that as his wallet was fast getting thinner and thinner, he is returning back to his normal lifestlye, causing everyone on the set to laugh.

The MCs also asked him if he was was being offered any roles in dramas or movies, to which he replied that he would want to take on roles of that other actors would reject such as that of a fool or of a murderer, revealing his inner drive for acting.

Hyun Joong and Yong Hwa to join forces

Hyun Joong and Jang Yong Hwa have been cast as MCs for MBC's Sunday Night's latest corner, Hunter.

The both of them will form part of a team of seven MCs, and the programme will focus on boar hunting, as the excessive amount of boars are seen as a threat towards agriculture and humans alike.

Both Hyun Joong and Yong Hwa have portrayed the roles of gentle, romantic men that make women fall over their heels in love with through the dramas KPN and You're Beautiful.

I personally think that this new programme will most likely wipe away that image, I mean one can hardly expect guys to be all gentle and accommodating when it comes to boar catching right?

Plus, with Hyun Joong's 4D thinking, I think the boars will be running away as fast as they can. Who knows what sort of ideas he'll come up with in order to catch a boar. Maybe make them join the olympics or eat lettuce or something. Or maybe he'll chase them up Halla San.

Although this does remind me of something Hwang Bo said during their first meeting at Jeju. When she was dressed up all pretty and everything, he looked like an ajussi who was out to catch pigs.

Hwang Bo: I had happy times with all of you (IG members)

Popular programme Infinity Girls will be ending the first season and starting season two with a whole new cast.

The first season, which exploded on T.V screens in 2007, has had a long successful run with many viewers praising the programme for it's wit and interesting moments as well as the well matched members. Despite the strong fellowship and support that they have been receiving, the girls will not be continuing on with season two as there were several members who would be leaving the show due to various reasons, and stated that "I.G would be totally meaningless if they were not all on it together."

Hwang Bo, on her mini hompage, left a goodbye message to the show that had played such a huge role in her life. She made the announcement on the 18th that the I.G members had shot their final shooting together, and said that it was because of her members that she had such good times, as they shared laughter and tears together.

She also expressed her regret for not being able to formally bid farewell on the show, and decided to convey her wishes through her home page instead. She also thanked all their fans for showing them such love and support throughout the years.

She also added that she hoped that they would receive the same support despite not being together as one, and promised that they would remain the same I.G members that they are now, without any changes to their present selves.

Poor poor Shin Woo

SIGH.....

I can't help but sigh when I hear poor Shin Woo singing his heart out to Mi Nyeo..

Only to have her thinking that all he wants from her is to be his test audience...

It's like he's finally ready to tell her his feelings, and he prays that she would be receptive of them. But I think that deep down inside, he knows it's too late, but he just can't give up without a fight.

But he's already lost. There's no way Mi Nyeo can feel anything for him anymore, other than as a dongsaeng who wants to help out her hyung (or oppa).

I think the breaking point for him was when he tried so hard to create the perfect moment to confess, but she forgot all about him when she was bitterly hurt by Tae Kyung, and ran off to cry her heart out. It hurt to see her hurting, but it hurt even more to be sidelined that way. Hence, his harsh words to her.

Shin Woo: How long more do you plan on crying like this? Would you even think of me after you're done crying?
Mi Nyeo: Shin Woo hyung...
Shin Woo: So it seems that you completely forgot about me. Even then, I was waiting for you, came running here for you, was worried sick about you... I really feel like an idiot!!!

But being the man in love, he couldn't bear to be angry any longer at her when he saw her tears. And decided that it was not the right time for her.

So despite not being able to give her the best date, give her flowers and presents, he decides to sing his song for her.

Hyun Joong in 'You are my pet' and 'Dream Team Season 2'

Hyun Joong will be appearing on TV again, this time through the drama 'You are my pet' as well as on the variety show 'Set Off Dream Team, Season 2'.

Hyun Joong, who has been a big fan of the programme, volunteered to participate in the show. His competitive spirit is also expected to shine throughout the various challenges featured on the show which will be aired on the 15th.

He has also been casted as Kang In Ho, the main lead, in the Japanese manga based drama 'You are my pet'. This is the Korean adaptation of the Japanese drama 'Kimi Wa Petto', which starred Matsumoto Jun, who incidentally was also the main lead in 'Hana Yori Dango', the Japanese version of Hyun Joong's first idol drama KPN.

Representatives from his agency stated that as the contract has not been finalized yet, they are unable to make any definitive response as of yet.
